    Toufic Farroukh is a highly acclaimed Lebanese saxophonist, composer, and bandleader known for his unique fusion of jazz, Arabic music, and world music influences. Born in Beirut in 1968, Farroukh grew up in a musically inclined family, with his father being a renowned musician himself. This early exposure to music sparked his passion for the saxophone, and he began studying the instrument at a young age.

    Farroukh's musical journey took him to France, where he pursued his studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. During his time there, he honed his skills as a saxophonist and composer, immersing himself in the rich jazz scene of the city. This experience greatly influenced his musical style, blending the improvisational nature of jazz with the melodic and rhythmic elements of Arabic and world music.
